Support and upgrade subscriptions
When you buy Cardbox you are entitled to 90 days' free technical support by email, to ensure that you can install the software and to help you over any initial difficulties you may have (this service is available to registered users of Cardbox only).
Professional Edition subscriptions
After the initial free period, support is available by subscription only. A subscription entitles you to free technical support and free upgrades to new versions; although if the upgrade involves the sending out of new manuals then we may ask you to pay the cost of the postage.
Subscription prices
The annual subscription rate is 12½% of the list price of your current Cardbox configuration. To find out the cost for your copy of Cardbox, and to take out and renew a subscription, go to My Cardbox.
Expired subscriptions
If your subscription has expired then we won't be able to give you support or upgrades. If your subscription expired recently then your renewal can be backdated to the time of expiry. Other rules apply if your subscription expired a long time ago or if you never subscribed in the first place: these are designed to ensure that non-subscribers do not take unfair advantage of people who keep their subscriptions up to date. Again, My Cardbox can tell you what the situation is for your particular copy of Cardbox.
Home Edition
The Home Edition does not have a subscription scheme: this is because it is designed for straightforward uses of Cardbox where support is unlikely to be required. If, however, you do want to subscribe for technical support for the Home Edition, you can do so at the same cost as for a single-user Professional Edition.
Client Edition
We do not provide support for the free Cardbox Client: your first point of contact should be the supplier or publisher of the Cardbox database you are using.
